Jim Howard received formal art training at the American Academy of Art in Chicago and has about 45 years of experience in watercolor, pencil, and pen-and-ink. It is his deep appreciation and passion for all of nature that makes Howard's artwork unique. He has taught both watercolor and pencil drawing classes in Helena. He exhibited last fall in the Montana Watercolor Society.
