Evan Snyder, originally from South Dakota is 14 years old, and like so many before him, has absolutely fallen in love with Montana. His passion is photography, especially in landscapes and wildlife. Evan is mentoring with photographer, Kenton Rowe, who has previously exhibited at the Fall and Spring Artwalk with Outdoor Kidfitter Co. Kenton is helping Evan learn how to better use the light to take better pictures. To get to where Evan take a lot of his shots, he has to climb steep hills on his bike. Evan said, “I come here to find peace away from home, and to capture the beauty of some spectacular sunsets over the mountains, but especially to capture the beauty of the cathedral. I am working toward getting the perfect picture, the aspiration of all photographers. But that won’t happen until I can get my hands on another mode of transportation, instead of constantly having to use my bike. My mom says I need to get my drivers license first.”
